Many say humans are a part of nature on this planet. This is not so. They do not act as any other living being. People are egotistical, play themselves as gods. They are lucky the gods find humor in their actions or they would be no more. However, there are those, like myself, whose human shell hides their true selves. Those of us who do not house a mortal human soul feel closer to nature. Perhaps that is why I fell in love with a Wolf. We do not care what others think of us and do not understand fully why humanity is so filled with things such as lust for power and greed. We are happy merely reveling in the beauty of that which is life. We find that beauty through nature. We appreciate what this planet has given us and do not desecrate that which she offers us still. The beauty of a sunset never passes us by. The howl of a wolf is music to us. Our minds are filled with thoughts and our hearts with wonder which humans will never understand. I am not talking about those who try to "save" the environment, to keep specific plants and animals alive. Just like most others they are merely playing at being gods. They merely take a different path leading to the same place. They do not do this for others to enjoy that which they "save", but because they feel control in choosing what is worth saving and what is not. After all what is the point of saving something if you cannot enjoy its beauty, it's magnificence? Humans are all about power and control. It is as the Agent says, "Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with its surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows this pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague" |
